Sponsor A Child

Nicaragua is the third poorest country in the Americas. The revolutionary conflicts of the 70s and 80s caused widespread destruction, economic instability, and displacement & disintegration of families. One in three children has some degree of malnutrition. One in four families has no male provider. Family violence is commonplace. These factors have resulted in neighborhood gangs, street children, glue-sniffing, and child prostitution.

Sponsoring a child shares the love of Jesus
and fulfills His command to let them come to Him.

CINAG is currently working with at-risk children and adolescents. Please sponsor one of these children.

If paying by cheque, please make payable to “Action International Ministries”

ACTION Canada is currently working to set up child sponsorship for CINAG. You will soon be able to sponsor a child online; please check back for updates.

How sponsorship works:

  • All letters and gifts from sponsors to the child must be sent to the ACTION Canada office.
  • Regular letters/reports will be sent to sponsors through the onsite missionary and the ACTION Canada office.
  • Sponsored children will write a thank you letter to signify receipt of additional gifts for birthdays, Christmas, and other special occasions.
  • To comply with privacy laws, no personal addresses will be disclosed, so please do not include your address in letters to the child.
  • Child sponsorship is shared by multiple sponsors, as the monthly cost for one child is in excess of $200 due to the provision of 24-hour and psychological care, etc.

Give justice to the poor and the orphan; uphold the rights of the oppressed and the destitute. Rescue the poor and helpless; deliver them from the grasp of evil people.
